Spinning like a top the tornado appeared to sit in one place for a long time.  After about 20 minutes I begin to notice that the tornado appeared to be getting closer. 

Later I was reminded that if a tornado does not appear to be moving, it is most likely coming directly at you. I purposely parked my car in its path to make it easier to film which made it appear to me that it was not moving, when in fact it was.   Yes it was moving very slowly towards me, but it was only noticeable to me when I realized I had backed my camera zoom all the way out and the tornado would no longer fit in my camera frame. 

So if you see a tornado and it appears to not be moving, get to shelter immediately, it is most likely headed straight for you and you could be in grave danger.

There was no doubt, the tornado was getting within 1/4 of a mile now. I had to think fast.
